As a (former) poet, I see these pieces as a kind of poetry. Certainly, it’s as close as I’ve gotten in my visual work to at least approaching poetry. A kind of post-literate poetry, perhaps—these pieces exist to be read as much as seen.... Each piece is acrylic on wooden discs mounted on wood and measures 12x12”.
